We’ve all heard that saying, “Seeing is believing.” This happens in the natural realm. But, in the spiritual realm, we walk by faith, not by sight. Before our prayers manifest, we should believe what we are praying for; we should see what we are asking God to do in the spiritual realm. The Bible lets us know, “Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” When we pray, we should be precise. If you desire to purchase a house, be specific, if you want a three-bedroom, two-bath, two-car garage and a finished basement in a particular neighborhood. Ask God for exactly what you want. Nothing is too big or too small for God. Start looking up houses for sale, go to open houses and shop in that neighborhood. Pray, believe God, and see yourself living there.
If your children or family members need salvation and deliverance, believe God to save and deliver them. Please don’t call your children out of their names. If your family member is addicted to drugs, don’t call him/her a crackhead, dope fiend, pothead. Don’t speak negativity over your loved ones. I don’t care what they are doing. You have to speak life. Encourage them. They have already been beaten down. Please don’t continue to beat them down. You may be the only one that speaks life into them. Tell them they are better than their circumstance. Believe God and know your family members are not too hard for God to save and deliver.
If you believe God to bring you out of financial difficulty because your finances are lacking and you have a pile of debt, first, find a scripture, read it every day until it takes root in your spirit, and you believe what it says. Give! I know this sounds crazy, especially when you are facing financial trouble, but God’s ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. The Bible let us know, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.” God takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. Have you ever met a person who was in the same income bracket as you? But, the person always had something to give. You may wonder how he/she has so much to give. This person is following God’s principle of giving. Another thing you can do is save. Pay yourself after you give your tithes if you feel you can’t afford to save any money. Sacrifice and put $10 or $20 aside per pay period. Please don’t touch it. It’s off-limits. Don’t lend it to anyone, because it may never make it back into your savings account. As far as you are concerned, the money doesn’t exist. Give your tithes. It’s a divine principle that God honors. It works!
If you are looking for a career change, see yourself in that position. Stop wondering if it will happen. You need to know it will happen. Research the desired career field. Take classes, become certified if required, volunteer, do what you have to do to move forward into your future position. Find someone who works in that field and schedule an informational interview. Evaluate how the desired career change compares to your current position. If there is a commonality in your current or previous job, use that as experience. You may say, this is a lot of work, but the bible lets us know faith without works is dead. So, we have a part to play as well. Pray and ask God for favor and open a door of opportunity for you. I don’t care who says you can’t do it or how much experience you need. Believe God for the impossible. You have to see it before it manifests.
Don’t wait to see it, believe God, before you see the manifestation!
